Ryde Town Hall

Business Case for Ryde Town Hall

Ideas for the regeneration of Ryde Town Hall are identified and evidenced through a publicly available Business Case, commissioned by Ryde HAZ, which you can read below. This includes identifying funding and investment opportunities to potentially enable future acquisition, restoration, refurbishment and sustainable community use.

There is potential to bring back Ryde Town Hall as the ‘signature’ building in Ryde, at the heart of the conservation area, to benefit residents and businesses for the long-term.

Ryde Town Council are continuing to pursue options for bringing the building back into use and we will update further as soon as we’re able to.

HCC Ryde Town Hall Feasibility Study and Business Case dated July 2021.

Ryde Town Hall Conservation Management Plan

Ryde HAZ contributed funding towards the production of three reports which are vital to the future development of this iconic heritage building.

Ryde Town Hall Conservation Management Plan – November 2023

Ryde Town Hall Maintenance Plan – March 2024

Ryde Town Hall Access Audit  – March 2024

These documents will eventually be made available to the public, but are currently commercially sensitive.

We hope that with these updated documents the Ryde Town Hall Trust and Friends of Ryde Town Hall (FORTH) can work together to secure funding required to secure the future use of the much loved building.
